Hi-
Need some feed back from you guys on what you think of the Cummins B series 5.9L Inline 6 225 HP/605 ft/lbs torque configuration that's in a 2002 F750 dump.
Is this a strong, reliable engine? How about when compared to the Ford 429 gas engine?
How about the Allision MD Series Push Button Automatic Tranny paired with this Cummins?
I welcome all feedback and thanks in advance!-

That should be an ISB, electronic controlled 24valve in that year. The previous version was a 12valve that was the 6BT, but it was all mechanical and I believe was not installed in anything after 98.
The Cummins 6BT is pretty much the standard for diesel engines in pickups, the ISB is pretty decent too. It's more low end torque than a a 429 could ever dream of, and uses less than half the fuel. Max rpm stock is about 2400, but they can handle more. They like to cruise around 1700-1800, so gear ratios need to be picked accordingly.
