PO and Old Wiring Replacement Time

I've been sticking my head in the sand long enough. Figured I have the truck in the garage for winter and still waiting on some parts so thought I would tear into the electrical fiasco I know is there. I've been labeling everything and keeping good notes. What a mess.

Yes sir it is. With the condition of some of this wiring I'm quite surprised that nothing ever shorted.

Actually I thought it looked pretty good. Some good heavy duty wires in there. Good luck with it. I am about half way with mine.

Getting the wiring in good order pays off. You've got the right approach. Nothing too complicated, just very compact behind the dash.

True. It's even more compact if you are tall....over 250#s...with a fat head!

Been there, a good part of the wiring in my dash had no insulation left! Just ripped it all out from the front of the truck to the back and replaced it all with a new 21 circuit harness.
Take your time and you should have no trouble.
