Nice wiring

There has been a bit of talk on here lately about wiring butchers. Here's a thing of beauty that I worked on yesterday........

I think you should pull that picture. If Ford engineers were to see it, they'd hire that guy!

So what is all that crap for? And that's one dirty engine compartment.

All the red wires are for the Rancho adjustable shocks that used to be on the truck. Under the truck looks about the same.
Yeah it's dirty alright but not that unusual because of some of the dirt/gravel/mud roads that lead to a few of the villages around here. The sad part is that the interiors of some of the vehicles we work on are just as clean

On the fan shroud is some sort of controller looking thing. There are controls in the cab too with the same nice wiring going to them.
Apparently at one time that mess may have actually allowed the driver to control his shocks from in the cab.

anybody see the new 'War of the Worlds' ? The alien's machines are trying the transform Earth into a world like their own. And they're growing all these nasty red vines, fertilizing them with human blood. The motor compartment of this truck looks JUST like that, eeewwwwww,,,,,,,,,,,
