Front Sheet Metal Removal

I'd like to see if anyone has done or would be interested in doing a front sheet metal removal pictorial how to. I've read posts on all the various bolts here and there. I'd like to see how to remove the front as a unit. I could just start doing it and figure it out but I'd just like to see it first. I enjoy doing these things but I'd like to see if anyone is at a spot to do one and would be willing. I'd sure love to see it.....with tons of pics and instructions of course. Just a thought...anyone??

On my 51 I removed the bolts on the rear of the fenders that hold them to the running boards. Next I removed the two bolts on either side. One up high to the firewall and one down low to the frame. Last I removed three bolts on either side that hold the fender supports in the front through the inner fender and into the rad support. The whole nose slid off easy both fenders grille and inner fenders. I'll try and grab some pictures of the locations this weekend for you.

Cool. Those pics would be fine but wouldn't it be fun to just go thru the process and document it with pics as you go.......

I did mine the same way, except I removed the 2 bolts that hold the radiator support to the frame and removed the entire front clip including the radiator support.

I tried to put it back on with the radiator support bolted to the frame, and there was so much flexing that I was afraid I was going to bend or crack something, so I bolted the radiator support to the front clip and installed it the same way that I removed it.

I didn't have anything to drain the antifreeze into that day so I did it so that the radiator stayed. Either way works.
