fuel inj. lag-engine buck
hi all fte. 99ran. 2.5 5 man. 53k Q. when i give it the gas there is a slight hesatation before winds up an goes any hints on it ? also at times engine will buck before takes off ? tk. runs better during cool weather. hot summer takes power away. live in fl. thanks to all. treb Really enjoy FTE. lot a good folks out there.

I have a 99 ranger 4 cyl 5 spd that has a slight "buck" at higher rpm's. Back off the gas at highway speed and it also has a slight buck, like timing was off ( not adjustable). Replaced plugs with no help, 65k mi. One guy said bad Knock Sensor might retard timing??
