factory remotes stopped working

factory remotes stopped working

I tried searching with no results or just not useful ones.

Both factory remotes for our X suddenly stopped working today. The keypad on the door works fine, the buttons on the doors work fine, but neither remote works at all.

Any ideas?

Maybe try changing the battery in each remote and reprogramming them?

Actually, maybe just try reprogramming them first.

Thanks I'll try the reprogramming tomorrow. I swapped batteries today just to see if that would help and it didn't.

Wouldn't you know it... I tried the reprogramming this morning and the remotes started working again! Very strange that they both lost their programming but oh well, at least they work again.
