I'll hopefully describe this in a helpful way.... I've used your great photo to point out the most important part of these quick connect hose couplings Ford used:

The two lighter colored nylon tabs need to be compressed or pushed inward towards the heater core tube---this releases them from the darker collar which can then be slid backwards off the tube. Its no more than that believe it or not.

I've used a larger pair of pliers like Channel Lock or big pair of needle nosed work well too---the jaws need to fit inside the windows of the collars to allow squeezing the tabs towards one another. There is a dedicated tool for this from Schley: http://sptool.com/index.php?page=sho...mart&Itemid=11 but for a one time thing its not really needed.

I'd strongly suggest replacing the tabs---they're available from NAPA etc and of course Ford dealers as well. Once upon a time I had the exact part numbers but cannot find them at the moment--------sorry 'bout that.

Keep also in mind depending on your year the heater core tubes well be 5/8" and 3/4" OR both just 5/8"---not sure what model year those changed.

Something else to know: the hoses are preformed and a bit pricey but can be replaced with traditional bulk hose and any suitable hose clamp. I believe one of them sells for about $70 from Ford---probably similar price in the after market though. I mention this because one hose already has an added clamp---was it leaking?

Hope this helps!

Thank you like I said my brain stop working of cause I can cut the rubber hose remove the quick release and sleep the tubing over the pipe and clamp it.
As far as the clamp, that were the problem is I used a rubber gasket over the crack and clamp it but the crack is higher up the plastic the clamp is not doing the job because the black plastic above it has bigger OD.
