Help Identify hose please

This hose has a hole in it . I want to get one or maybe make one . Its a has a T fitting firewall, side of engine, radiator. What is it called and how much for new. can i make one if so how? Thanks . .... In this picture you can see the hose a little its an old picture.

Posted on your 94.5 forum post also........

The hose in the picture is the heater hose from the head to the heater core, the T fitting also directs hot fluid to the base of the rad for trans fluid cooling/heating.

I changed my hoses by cutting off the aluminum crush ends so as not to damage the T fitting..... the heater hose from the head to the T then on to the heater core is 5/8" ID the one from the T to the rad bottom is 1/2" ID. I used screw clamps in place of the crush ends.

My T fitting is rusted on the outside what do you recommend i do make my own or purchase the unit ?

Just measure the heater hose size and got to your local parts store, they stock heater hoes t-fittings and heater hose. Also make sure to get new clamps for the ends and make sure it doesn't rub on any thing.One other tip when you go to take the end off of the heater core remove the clamp, and take a razor blade or razor knife and slit the hose length wise, because some times if you wrestle with it too much you will cause a leak in the heater core.
