Leaky Injector Question

Hey guys. My trucks been running like crap recently. Today I helped my father in law move some stuff from one garage to the next. The truck would sit for 30-45 minutes or so, then move some stuff 50 feet, shut it off, sit for a bit, and back and fourth a handful of times. You get the drift... When Id start it, itd still miss and sputter for a bit. The last move we made, I let it idle til we got it unloaded and it would run ok, sputter once and blow some smoke, run ok, sputter and blow some smoke, etc, and it never did idle smoothly for longer than 10 seconds. This is issue #1.

I poped the hood and took a look. I saw an injector leaking some fuel. On our injectors (as many of you should know) theres a large 1" screwed into the head, which is the injector itself. Then on top of that is a plastic piece with the rubber lines for the fuel return, and on top of that is a 5/8" fitting with the hard lines for the fuel supply. The plastic piece is leaking fuel. Im not sure what all this incorporates and would rather not have my only truck down waiting on a part. Does this plastic piece have O-rings in it and they are bad? Or do I have to buy a new plastic piece? This is issue #2 and "may" fix issue #1

There's 2 oring's under the black plastic cap ... sounds like you need o rings . ... I forget what size they are but your local store will carry the injector return line kit. If you just replace oring's the more you move them around the others might start leaking as well. Also the black plastic caps get brittle after time they get super fragile. ...
