What are some of you guys with stock or close to stock PSDs seeing for boost levels when you're driving around? I don't see any boost at all if I'm driving down the road, but as soon as I accelerate I see it. I also nailed the throttle a couple times (ok, a bunch of times) to see what I could get the boost up to. The most I pegged was about 18 pounds. I have a 4 inch exhuast, with 3.5 inch downpipe and a K&N at the moment. I'll be sticking the Tymar on as soon as it come in so that may help.
I've got a lot of mods done to my truck, including intake/exhaust/Diablo chip. When I put my chip in stock position, I can just barely reach 20psi. On the freeway at 70mph, I get about 2-3psi. With my chip in the "Extreme" position, I get 25psi. With my chip in the "Extreme/propane" position, and the propane on, I can reach 30psi.
I hope this helps.
Back when it was stock, 18-19. Now with the superchips microtuner on the lower 60 hp setting 23-24 tops. I suppose that would go up on the 80 hp setting.
