I had a injector go out and flooded the block and washed out a baring and it's knocking now so I wanna rebuild it my self how hard is that to do and I don't have the right place to pull the cab how do I go about this? And where can I get a good kit for all the stuff I need to do it
I would probably subscribe to the workshop manual. Download it so you can refer to it.
There are order hits out there for gaskets/bearings/injectors and more.
I think I would be talking to the parts guys for the kit #'s.
While I have not done this I would highly consider the job with taking the hood, fenders and front clip off. Then prop the trans on blocks and pull the motor.
I think that is how I would go about it if I really had to.
