Interesting mirror
I am curious about this driver's door mirror that is on My '78 F150. It has a what looks like a bulb socket on the bottom, a wire going thru the door and a toggle switch on the driver's door. Is this a factory option? My owners manual does not mention it. Here is a pic of the mirror,and switch

I guess the only way you will be able to tell is to take it to the north pole and test it out...It's worth a try, right?
