Sometimes these old trucks are not worth fixing up. I have one in my garage that needs to go for sure. I have not driven it in a long time and need the garage space for my Chevy truck. I loved the old truck in its day, and spent a lot of money on it such as repaint and some body work that I did myself. As it sits now, it needs a new battery and I just don't want to spend the money on it. I am really on a deal to sell it. It is my understanding that these older trucks have gone up in value over the past couple of years...Mine has served as a storage bin in my garage and I am in the process of emptying the bed now. Old trucks are fun, but expensive in my opinion...It seems there is always something to do as you drive them on a daily basis. Do what you want, but consider your options.

Selling a Bump to make room for a bow tie? Dude, you're killing me! That is wrong in so many ways.
so think if i replace cheap aftermarket wheel with oem style one it will fix the column?
Hmm girl, I really think you're full of wishful thinking that you can get that truck back up on the road and fixed cheap. But the fact is you can't do much of any wenching right. Or out wandering through the junk yards looking for replacement parts and installing them. You really need to face what's going on in your live.
You should not be doing any driving while taking all those pain meds period!!
You say you don't have anyone to help you, so you'll have pay for everything you can't do. Their is almost no end to replacing parts keeping these old trucks up and running. And you would endup putting thousands & thousand of dollars into it parts an labor for the simple little things even.
Not counting the down time for repairs when needed..
Well, I'd say for everones safty buy a new computer girl..orich
I've seen your interest in your truck over the past months and would hate to see you let it go now. Everyone has there own opinions and interest in things I'm a straight greaser anything with a motor catches my attention maybe it's because I'm not into the whole being a hermit gamer jewing thing but I'd be spending my cash on my truck to get it running good you have some expenses for sure on your truck i would only do what body work needs done inner fender for sure any bad rust spots on body or holes I'd take care of just to make it solid. And take care of the wiring so horn and everything else works then the drivetrain get it running good and reliable but like I said its up to you to decide what you really want more and would serve you better in life

X2 I completely agree with orich. This is not the type of vehicle for you.
Actually driving should not be done with the type of medication your taking. It does not matter if your in a one horse town or the big city, do everyone a favor and sell the truck and enjoy life from the sidelines.
Use your money to by a badass computer.
A DUI= is not just for drinking..It's being under any meds type of drugs you are taking that caused you to be inoperative of driving vehicle safely, or walking, riding a horse, riding a bike and you can go to jail..
Please think smart the life you save maybe mind or someone on this site, alittle kid!!
that's my 2 cent. (Not trying to be mean with you, but we'll all someday have to stop driving.. orich
Gamer,
4X above. I do not have to repeat everybody above. They typed it all very eloquently. May I suggest using some of the money you will be getting for repairing your body? Use the money for whatever will help you get off the Meds. As I stated in one of your previous threads you need to do what will make you happy. Less pain and/or medication mind melt would be a good goal. And also what I said in a previous thread, once you can drive safely you might re-consider a Crown Vic. Lower to the ground.
I also am not trying to be mean, I am just a straight shooter. I can't help not being the big brother.
