That's freaking funny. Hope it's going to seat ok.
Thanks Sam. I do to. I need to tow with this thing. That's what I built it for and can't do anything with it as of now. If it doesn't I guess I'll have to put a whole new clutch in it.
LOL!!! I'd like to be able to tell some stories, but so far the only story I have is when it comes up on boost, the clutch slips . There is a 500 mile break in period for the kevlar/ceramic, but that is 500 miles of stop and go driving. That is hard for me here where I live. Once my truck is in 5th gear, it pretty much stays there until I get where I'm going. If I drive it to work, it's only 15 miles one way and there is only one stop sign between here and there.....and I usually run it! LOL!!!
Bill, ya gotta allow a little more time to get to work. Do some stop and go on the way to work, if you stop and go once every mile that's 14 and X2 back home would be 30. Do that for two weeks if you work 5 days a week that would be like 300 miles of stop and go. You may have equal to 500 if you add in the 200 equivalent that you possibly have already. No need to thank me for my mathematical skills and my expertise in solving problems, I know you would do the same for me
Rich's idea would work too. Just leave early for work. When you get home late your clutch will be healthy but your relationship with your wife will not be, LOL You might then hear the four words I have heard all my life, "where have you been?"
What I hear most of the time Glenn is, "What are you doing here?" LOL!!! Time will tell on the clutch I guess. I'm getting ready to go through my front axle hub to hub as soon as I have the money. The pinion bearing and seal is bad and the inner axle seals leak, so I'm just gonna go ahead and do it all while I'm in there....wheel bearings, spindle bearings, axle joints, ball joints and all the seals.

When I was working for myself, I'd always get, "what time will you be home?" Used to drive me nuts. Let's see, I've got about 100 things to do today, so some time after that. Lol.

Pretty much how I felt about it Glenn! She's a planner though, sooooooo....
I was pushing snow for over 18 hours straight last winter and we had a wake to go to. I was cutting it real close on time, not to mention I was exhausted. She kept blowing me up. I finally had to get real stern with her and she got the hint. She knows how I feel about those kinds of calls, but it must be something in the Ginger DNA that doesn't compute. Lol
Mine does the same thing Todd, and she's not a ginger. The one that kills me is when I am planning an automotive project for someone and she asks "How long will that take?". I get it that she's just trying to get a feel for how big a project it will be, but I usually just shoot her a dumb look and say "You know better than to ask that kind of question". All it takes is one stuck bolt to derail the whole project.
Bill, I feel for you man. Hopefully the front end rebuild will treat you well. Are you going to try to use OEM parts or are you looking at XRF for the ball joints and such? Just don't say Moog...
