Washington State emissions ...... passed
Went in for my emissions test today.
Clark County, Washington. I say this because some counties are not required to do this.
I put the CAT back in, reverted to stock programming, went for a drive to heat things up.
They handed me a power cord to plug into the power port.
Three quick snaps of the throttle, to establish a baseline.
Then they placed the opacity unit on the exhaust.
3 More snaps on the throttle. Passed
Never looked under the hood or looked for the CAT.
Funny thing is, they still have the 04 diesels listed as a 7.3.
Oh well.
Cost=
Emissions test = $15
License renew = $68
Not complaining, I could live in a more expensive state!

Last time I had it done here, the guy did take a peek under the truck and hooked their power under the hood, although he didn't look any further than that.
Not sure if I would want to work at a place that has me breathing in all those fumes all day. No wonder the State of Washington has quit testing diesels from 2008 and newer. Just wish they would quit doing more! LOL

Some states will crawl all over. Some don't.

if that can get ditched.
You know how they are if they don't see money they don't give a damm.
God forbid that Mike McGinn ever runs for a higher job.
