other way around, if the egr cooler fails also replace the oil cooler because it causes egr failure. the oil cooler can plug and as long as coolant levels are good the egr cooler can still be in good shape

looks good, two years ago when I bought the 03 I really thought about an Excursion I looked at a lot of them but never found one that had been taken care of at all.
