I'm looking to purchase a new 2005 Excursion Limited, 6.0 L Diesel preferably in black. I have had no success finding one in my home area (northern NJ / southern NY) and I know that the number left on dealer lots is dropping quickly. This is likely my last chance to get another EX (my 3rd) or resort to the new Expedition or '07 Yukon XL. If anyone has any info, please let me know. Thanks.

They show two- Mineral Gray and Black. Out of over 3,000 Ford dealers in all 50 States, there are fewer than a dozen of these things out there. The sad thing is, you're probably going to have to step up and pay real money for one those right now- used '05's are bringing stoopid money out here.

 

I found that one, too, but I noticed that they had just traded it from Watertown Ford in Watertown, MA (scroll down the locator page, Ernie- it shows as being in both dealers' inventory). When that happens, with a leftover 2005, there's a 99.9% chance that Stevens has it sold.

 

Check Newins in Bayshore, NY. Last I checked, they had a Black Limited. It might be a V10 though.

Stevens had advertised 5 Excursions (all PSD's) in last weeks newspaper.

Only Ford could duplicate invoices on the same locate. Glad you saw that.

These are all with the 6.0.

 

Stevens advertised that they have 5 left (all 6.0 PSD) in the paper again yesterday. I highly suggest calling them if you want one. If you live in northern NJ, you're only 60-90 minutes away. If you want, I could spin by or call for you, they are only 20 minutes from me.
