Dome Light issue

My Dad just took delivery on a 2008 King Ranch F150 last night and after he got it home, he noticed the dome lights did not work. We checked all the fuses and bulbs.
Also tried adjusting the dimmer switch, but we cant figure out why the dome light will not turn on.

any one have an idea???

First check for power to the light housing, then look for rust/corrosion from water getting into the housing. This is assuming the combination inside/outside light at the rear of the cab.

i will check that tonight, but the issue is with all the dome lights in the truck, none of them come on, not even the map lights

Try adjusting the Instrument panel dimmer. I it is all the way down (past the detent) it will disable the interior liights. Like wise all the way up (past a detent) the lights will stay on.
