1998 f250 need help i'm trying to replace clutch safety switch it is located in between brake pedal and accelerator pedal i got the rod off of the shaft that goes to pedal but i cant get the rod out of the fire wall does it just pull out? i got the swicth loose from fire wall but cant get the shaft out of fire wall any help would be great thanks

 

Im just trying to replace this someone must have done this at some point lol thanks for any help.

 

The rod through the firewall is the rod going into the clutch master, right?

You may have to pull the master to see what's going on there.
