Help please
Posted this in the 6.0 forum and got no response, can anyone help?
05, 350, 4X4 w/EGR delete and SCT tuner set on street. When I punch it from a stop, it takes a few seconds to pick up, then it shifts hard. If I don't punch it, it shifts smooth. Is that normal?

Any time you have a turbo there is going to be some lag.
The throttle in the 6.0 is a drive by wire so you don't have a
throttle cable.
And like I said the higher the RPM at shift the more you going
to feel it do to more pressure in the system.

Ok, so after reading all these posts, I went back to my truck and plugged the tuner in. Went through the settings (I've been afraid to tinker with any settings... Afraid I would screw something up) and found the second place to change my revolutions per mile. Changed it to match the 610 that's tire chart and speedo setting called for. Now she shifts smooth as a baby's bottom!!
