SMD Racing Schenanigans
Well, I figured it'd be far easier to just start a thread instead of posting in that collective mess.
Finally got the garage installed yesterday
Got the garage muddy... already
Found out our steering issues were because we seem to have destroyed the input shaft on the steering box. Jacked the tires up and are able to almost 90 degree turn the wheels left, but still won't budge right past straight. Thought there may have been some more serious issues, a pretty hefty amount of liquid was found when we took the truck off the trailer... found out today it was just all the power steering fluid.
Got some parts to order...

Haha, when we got home we focused on the undercarriage more than anything else. I'll actually be pulling it back out and washing it more tomorrow. Hopefully disassembling the steering tomorrow as well.
I don't think we'll be able to make any races until Haislip. If I'm not mistaken I have a 5.90 index race that weekend, and Maryland Oct 10-13. How did Newtown Dragway go?

I'm assuming my sister's wreck at Afton did the final trick. Wouldn't be surprised if our past issues were a result of it starting to go bad either.
