Source for re manufactured engine.

My recently obtained 2000 5.4 EB has 2008,000 miles. It is in excellent condition and every thing checks out, except I discovered a small head gasket leak into the cooling system. It recently had a dormann intake installed and I do not think the previous owner knew there was also a head gasket leak. K-Seal HD stop leak seems to have worked for now. This kind of mileage is probably too much for just replacing head gaskets. The labor to do the heads or swap the engine is about the same. S and J engines will provide a re manufactured 5.4 for about $2,400. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,,,,Jim motorhd
