Leaks, leaks, everywhere

Well guys, my truck dislikes having full tanks of gas. My middle tank leaks above a half tank. Woohoo I'll fix that leter. But recently I've been running off my rear tank. Now here's my problem. I fill it up to the top of the tank ($55 or so ) and drive away happily. Then I park it in my driveway and let it sit all day. I come outside to find that my gas is being pushed UP the filler neck and down the fender of the truck! It only does this when the tank is above half full...why is it doing this? It doesn't make any sense to me...its like there's back pressure to the tank or something but where could it come from?

I don't have a rear tank so idk but it sounds like its not venting properly. Sit one of these new fancy safety gas cans in the sun for awhile and then you'll see what I mean. It's the same thing thats happening to your truck.

Agreed, sounds like a venting problem.

what would cause this? I even left the gas cap off and parked the truck for the day and it still spilled out...

The nuts the squirles are putting in there are displacing the gas.
