I know that you usually dont post anything on here except what is wrong with you trucks but I have two problems. The first one is ... I just installed a CB radio in my '89 Ford F-150 and when I transmit it makes at loud sqeal to the people that hear me. What can I do to take the squeal out or what is the cause of the squeal? and second ... when I fill my rear tank all the way up and then run out of gas in my front tank I will switch it to the rear tank. I will be driving on it for like 20min and then it will die like it isnt getting gas. So I will flip it to the front tank and for some reason all the gas that was in the rear tank is in the front tank WHY is that?
Example: I was driving to work the other day and my front tank started to sputter and so I flipped it to the rear tank. I drove on it for like 20min and the gas gauge went from (F) to (E). So I was thinking maybe I had a leak or something. so then it died. so being close to a gas station I flipped it back to the front tank. The front tank then read full and I pulled into the gas staion to put $10.00 in it. But it would only hold $8.00 and it topped off. And I havent had to fill up again for 200 miles. So my question is How can the gas get from the Rear tank to the Front tank. Does it have to Pass thru the front tank to get to the engine? All help is appriciated. I wish I knew more but I just bought the truck about three days ago. 1989 Ford F-150 2WD Lariat XLT
