transmission help!!

transmission help!!
I rolled my 2002 2wd 7.3. It still run and drives but obviously body damage and frame damage. I want to buy a 2005 4x4 with half an engine and transmission. What im wondering is if i take the output shaft of the 5r110 and put it in the 4r100 will it work?

If you are saying you want to put the 7.3 with the 5r100 into the 05 it won't work. I have been told the bell housing bolt pattern it different. Also the 7.3 computer won't run the 5r100. I could be wrong but I'm sure someone else here will know more.

I want to put my 7.3 with 2wd transmission in a 2005 4x4. I now the output shafts are different so im wondering if I can swap the 5r110 output shaft in my 4r100. I have my wrecked 7.3 with everything to make the swap work I just don't know how to make my transmission line up with the t-case.

Yes, you can install a 4x4 shaft from a 4R100. I don't think it will fit the newer transfer case, but I don't know for sure.
