3g alternator question
Greetings,
I want to purchase a 160A 3g Alternator for my 92 f150 5.0 to upgrade my 2g alternator from this website:
RJM Injection Tech — 7
I do not understand:
Choose the clocking that best suits your vehicle on that webpage. The options are 4:00 12:00 and 8:00.. Any of you guys might know the answer to that? I sent them an email a while back and they never answered my question.
I was going to order the 2g to 3g alternator adapter piece from this website to make it easier to install:

From their pictures, you want the 4:00 one.
As for the adaptor, read these. It is VERY easy to take the plug from a junkyard car with a 3G and require it to your truck.
