Quick engine removal question....

I'm trying to separate my 370 big block from the 5 speed manual it's bolted to (coming out of a F600). I've got everything loose including the transmission mounts and if I lift up on the motor I can wiggle the motor and trans as a whole however I can't seem to get them to separate.

So, do I need to unbolt the flywheel from the clutch? I've only ever done automatics before and I know I always unbolt the torque converter but I didn't think you have to unbolt the clutch... I've got all the bell housing bolts out and have the cover off under the bell housing along with the plate that the starter bolts to.

Thanks....

Pushing the clutch pedal down will make the trans and engine separate. With the pedal down you should be able to wiggle the engine around and start the pulling process.
