235k miles service

My 2000 F250 7.3 just hit 235k miles and i was wbdering what i should do in terms of servicing it. I change the oil with motorcraft filters and Rotella T6 full synthetic. I was wondering what kind of other things should be done to ensure i can get many more miles out of my old workhorse.

It's a good idea to change other fluids as well. When was the last time you flushed the brake fluid? Power steering fluid (it uses ATF not power steering fluid)? Rear (and maybe front) Diff? Transmission? Clutch hydraulics if applicable? Blinker fluid? (just kidding). Do you regularly check the SCA levels in the coolant? When was the last time the coolant was flushed?

Fluids and filters are the biggest part. These trucks are getting older though, so it's a good idea to start inspecting hoses, belts, air gap on the AC compressor, etc. Also watch for leaks on the air intake if you've got the stock set up. Make sure the clamps on the 6 CAC boots are tight. Make sure there's no chaffed wires around the 42 pin connector, the ICP sensor, or the IPR. Maybe check the fuel line going to the rear of the passenger side head and make sure the clamp isn't rubbing through the line. If you have aluminum CAC tubes, make sure the power steering line fitting isn't rubbing a hole in the tube.

And of course, when was the last time you changed your shocks?

I've got a couple of miles on the odometer, so I've had just a little practice.

Ok well I couldn't actually tell you any of that information. I bought the truck a while back just to pull around a trailer now and again. Truck runs great and i change the oil regularly but i wasn't sure what i should do next. I feel as though for my own purposes I should probably just assume its been too long on everything and start fresh. So now that I'm good on oil what would you guys take care of next?
