is this the piece where the linkage goes for the ebpv?
looks like someone removed it and capped the holes. don't see any arms or anything sticking out of it.

Yes sir! It looks to me like someone already gutted your EBPV (and then mounted the housing sideways just for spite)!

thanks Nate, glad I finally got that in my head how it works now. didn't help by someone putting that on like that. just couldn't see how the linkages all lined up. never thought about someone putting it on sideways. lol

took the buck stopper off the front today. someone pulled on it, so It was bent up some. just didn't like it.
also took the door steps off. pass side was rusted n buddy finished it off so I just took drivers side off too.

well I thought I had a aftermarket down pipe, but after further inspection it is not. going to order one tonite along with an intake.
like the looks of the tymar intake from beans. will most likely order the riff raff 6637. any input would be good.

also the down pipe I don't have a cat converter. any input on which one is a good fit n finishes I would like to hear about.
diamond eye n mbrp
what is everybody running the stainless or aluminized??

thanks scott

I ran a tymar downpipe. Mines modified now with a new turbo. They make a 3 inch, 3-3 1/2 inch, and a 3-4 inch. Maybe more. I run the 3-4 inch and a 4 inch straight pipe. Fit was excellent in stock form. It's not the cheapest downpipe.

I've got the Diamond Eye aluminized on all of mine. Riff Raff has them the cheapest I've found.

That looks that will make it even harder to get to the bolt on the back side!

i thought about turning it the right way when i put my down pipe on, but from the looks of those bolts i might just leave it be. lol

ordered a diamond eye down pipe and 6637 intake so i have something to do this week end. lol

next is the guage pod. i will go with autometer i think. just have to figure out which ones. ultra lites or phantoms???
looks like beans has a pretty good deal on the pod n 3 gauges. boost, trans n exhaust.
open to any suggestions on these gauges.

thanks scott

been out of town workin so I haven't been able to do much on the truck this week. did get the new down pipe yesterday. the 6637 must not ship from the same place as it didn't get here yet and tracking says 10/8 delivery.

been reading a lot of the oil/fuel in the valley post on here. what is the best way to clean the motor. I have read brake clean. is it a bad idea to take some engine/tire cleaner and spray the motor down and rinse it off with light pressure (not 2500# pressure washer). I work on car washes and have access to a lot of cleaner/degreaser liquids.
I know to cover the IDM on the drivers fender.

thanks scott
