I've used some cheap blasters before and they always got the job done eventually; always cleaner than a wire wheel too.

As stated, that axle looks fine. It will clean up well.

Brad, that is some friggin ROT!! I've been out of the rust belt a while now, I forgot how bad it can be! It's funny, out here in Wyoming my truck is a rotted pig, but back in MN its pretty clean for a 96' haha

The sandblaster doenst have to be anything special(harbor freight junk is fine)

The COMPRESSOR is what makes the difference. You need at least 15CFM CONSTANTLY @90+psi

I have a harbor freight/tractor supply/Clarke brand and I also have a Eastwood.

I like the eastwood better for filling, but they both work about the same(I fed them bioth with a 35cfm 90psi compressor)

Ahh... Ok. My air compressor only does 6CFM @ 90 psi. Don't think that is sufficient.

Hey There! Flareside Bed Trim Question

Hey I've been checking out your truck man. I have the exact same model and engine haha! Anyhow, I just wanted to ask where you bought or somehow got your bed trim for the flareside model? I can't seem to find it anywhere

Mine came with the truck, but according to Summit Racing and the manufacturer of the part they are specifically for the Flareside. I have been meaning to get a set but simply keep having other things come up.

That was there when we got it. It's a Pendaliner brand liner but has a Ford part sticker on the backside of it so I am guessing it was a dealer accessory when the truck was new.
