A LOT of work on trucks. Mine has got new Edelbrock 750 carb, front and rear sway bars, front lifted 1.5" and a bunch of small random crap. My buddy bought a 74 Highboy and we have done carb, swapped rear axle, stripped interior to prep and undercoat inside, brake master, tore out all PO installed extra wires to nowhere. Another friend bought a VERY clean 73 F-100 that I inspected for him and have done radius arm bushings, motor mounts, tune up, points eliminator, cowl pocket cleaning.
Other than that and setting up the new shop while working in it I have parts waiting for my truck, poly bushings, Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake controller, tilt column that I need to rebuild, cruise control, AC dash that I'm modifying, sheet metal ect ect ect
I thought they were talking about the area where every pine needle and leave finds their way in the cowl not sure how they opened it up or if they shop vac'd it out
If you pull the inner fender apron (if your truck has them) there is an Oval rubber plug that accesses the Cowl Pocket, also remove the driver side vent (or cover if and AC truck) and pull the heater out (on AC trucks just unscrew the Accordian seal between heater and cab wall) to clean inside heater and core (for VERY clogged systems)
All this pertains to 73-79 trucks as it's mainly what I work with and you didn't mention what you have.
