April Meet

It is just about April, time to set up the monthly meet! So, at the last meet no one but me and Sean made it. We thought of moving back to Friday nights instead of Saturday. It was about a 35 minute wait due to there being so many people... The 18th is a no go since I will be in North Carolina but the Friday after would be OK for me. That is the 25th. What say you guys?

I can't make it the 25th due to my wife's birthday in Port Angeles but I would like to know if you do GTG's once a month now as was stated. I never have been to one but would really like to go next month if there is one.

Oneminizut, we certainly do have our meets once a month. I try to schedule them towards the end of the month so we have plenty of time for planning. However, just because I make a thread for a meet doesn't mean individual members can't set up their own meets. If someone can't make it due to a distance issue or whatever, they can set up their own kind of meet if they like. I do this to try to get our members active and to get to know who everyone is.

I hear ya, it's a bit rough with how spread our we are. Before I became leader, Snow Bunny had planned a trip to the eastern side for a camp out. Everyone was all gung-ho for it but about a month before people started backing out till it was me and one other. We ended up just cancelling. It would be cool to plan something like that again but it isn't easy. Even just these meets are pretty sparce with people showing up. A camp out might be worse.

I may make it this month, we shall see if im not burried in a project or not. Unless Sean and Dylan want to keep it to there usual date night.

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. I don't have a 7.3 but is there ever a place that a badass 78 bronco isn't welcome?

Don't worry, we don't mind anyone interrupting our date night.

Talked to the Wife today and sounds like the four of us will be joining.

Dylan- I went to a FTE tech day back in February with some of those guys. For that it was as long as I had a Superduty. However I dont think a camping trip would be a problem. Pretty good group.

The one thing I do notice however is there is quite a bit of members in Washington who don't check out the regional chapter. It would help to bring a broader spectrum and larger group. Part of me thinks some of that should be left to Moderators though.

I have noticed a few members here and there that haven't been to the regional section. Heck, there are a ton of people in the state alone that own a Ford but don't visit the site.

As for the trip to ID, I don't know the future schedule yet. Next year I'd like to visit Norway and if I did, it would probably be around June I think. I don't even have details on that yet.

We have a few Washington people in the 6.0 forum.
I got my @$$ chewed for posting about one upcoming
meet once. Yet they let one other chapter post all the time.
Double standard is BS. I was not happy about it at all.

I'm looking at about 6pm. I will try to arrive earlier but as with everything, there is no guarantee that will happen. I'll be in my Mustang again.
