Techonsha P3 issue

Had it since '07 and it worked great at first, overkill for my needs. However about a 1 1/2 years ago, it quit completely. It appear to be a freak issue because I pulled and replaced the fuse and it started back. Then a while later I noticed the screen was dark. You could barely see it. Periodically, when not towing, the red warning display appears bright when started, but not every time.
Then the brake application got "weak". Worked, but just, can't lock 'em down as it could before. It's not dangerous, but not right either. My last camper had the same problem but it turned out to be bad brake wiring connectors at the axle. Thinking the same I replaced them...no dice. Now we have a new Coachmen and it's the same so I think it's either the controller or some wiring problem. Any ideas?

Call Techonsha... they will have you run a test or two and if it's bad will replace the controller. They are really GREAT to work with. They stand behind their products!

Ditto to that, and I'd add that it actually is kind of dangerous because you never know when its going to fail completely. I realize that could be said about almost anything, but a spotty brake controller is something I would not live with.

I'll give them a call, but I'll be surprised if they stand behind a product this old.

They're still sold new. I'd be amazed if they didn't.
