Visual upgrades thread for the Amarillo!

So, I just finished swapping to the 08+ mirrors and am trying to decide if I should paint them, leave them black, and whether to use the black cap or chrome cap. I already ordered the smoked LED signals for the mirrors because I feel they will blend in better with the mirrors plus I broke the clear ones that came with it. I'm thinking of just leaving them black and using the chrome cap to replicate the Amarillo edition.

Thoughts?

Paint the caps yellow. That would look sweet.

Everyone keeps saying that. Lol I'm just not sure if it would look good with an all black mirror and yellow cap. I thought of painting the while mirror yellow but this truck needs contrast as it has too much yellow without some black and chrome.

I've also got the clear cornered HD headlights too and will probably stick with them unless you guys have other suggestions. I haven't see any aftermarket headlights that aren't cheesy.

I have the clear corner lights too. Very nice, I think you will like. I think the mirrors would look awesome that way. I have the 06 king ranch mirrors on my trucks with the mirror blacks white and the rest black. Fantastic is all I can say.

Why not put the caps on and take photos of each on the truck?

Yes, the clear corner HD lights are nice. I thought of getting the factory amber ones but the orange clashes a bit. As far as the mirrors go I'll just stick with the original plan.

I just have the chrome caps and the black caps. I know for sure I don't want black caps. I'll probably just have my friend paint the caps yellow when I get the flares and tailgate.
