EBPV help

Now for the 2nd time my ebpv is clogged with carbon is there Any way to keep it clean or am Igoing to have to clean it every 2k miles? Any advice appreciated in advance!

What engine type do you have?
How do you know your exhaust back pressure valve is clogged? Usually it's just the sensor that accumulates soot (assuming a 7.3 engine...). If your sensor clogged again in 2k miles then your exhaust has too much soot in it. Usually caused by aggressive calibration or boost leaks.

Yes 7.3 and I meant the sensor sorry. Programming is just edge evolution, and afe stage 2 cold air, 4 inch magnaflow turbo back w/ muffler delete.

You might want to check for boost leaks. It is really easy. Search YouTube for some good videos that show the steps.

So far i haven't done the leak check yet just suspension work. But i must say the world of difference between k&n air filters and afe dry filters, even dirty, older the afe filter out performs k&n.
