auto lock issues

auto lock issues
Good Morning,
My truck is set up to lock the doors every time i drive off. Since I do not want this feature, i went online and found the owners manual and did what it said to deactivate.
The locks still lock. I have tried it several times and do not know what i am doing wrong or why they will not deactivate.
Any ideas?
