Just acquired a 1990 full size bronco. I am having trouble with the turn signals. I have nothing front or rear with the turn signal lever. When i turn the 4 ways on just the rear taillights flash. I have nothing in the front! Its getting me really frustrated because i believe its probably something stupid.
I have replaced all the fuses new flasher unit, all new bulbs. And looked closely at all the wiring and the wiring on the entire vehicle is unmolested and is in great condition. Any ideas? if it was a littler newer id say it was the multifunction switch. Would it possibly be the turn signal switch its self? If it is why would just the taillights flash on 4way and not the front?
Im confused and irritated?
I would start with your turn signal switch...in the column (behind the steering wheel) in a 90. I don't know for sure on the 90, but on my 93 there are 2 flashers mounted opposite one another.....One for turn and one for the hazards. One on the front of the fuse panel and one directly behind it. Hope this helps!
