No turn signals

No turn signals
PLEASE DISREGARD--MODS CAN DELETE.
I found the other flasher...
First, hello. My first visit. [Warning: I Am Not A Mechanic.]
Got a '79 F150 w/no signals. I replaced the flasher and have hazard lights but no turn signals. Does this indicate a bad turn signal switch on the column?
If I'm going to replace the switch, Haynes says to use a "suitable puller" to remove the steering wheel. What, specifically, is a "suitable puller"?

Saw 'em both, finally. That is, was reminded that there are two flashers.
I had initially replaced the hazards flasher, which was unnecessary, trying to fix the turn signals. I established that the old hazards flasher had been working and that the old turn signal flasher had not (replaced it and got signals).
