fuel mileage

besides good tire pressure anybody got any advice on how to bring up gas mileage on these monster gas guzzlers

what engine? if you have a v10 the only thing that will help is driving like you have an egg under your foot. THey love the gas

either of the gas engines, just drive lightly..not much else you can do.

thanks that seems to be a challenge for sometime I let the power go to my head.

The driver mod is no doubt the most important. The faster you drive the more fuel you will burn; I used to drive mine right at 65 MPH on the highway to conserve fuel. The harder you drive the worse it gets!

keep it under 2000 rpm on the highway

Mike at 5 Star Tunes has an economy tune, not sure how much that helps though, I don't have it.

My old '97 F-150 5.4 gained 3mpg with exhaust and tune (my drive is mainly in town). It didn't have a lieometer so that is based on actual miles and gallons at the pump. Cost vs. mileage all depends on how much you drive.
