I am wondering what gas mileage everyone gets from various gas stations.....I kno if i use the exxon I get better gas mileage then the super Wawa.....super Wawa is better then the Turkey Hill/Citgo....and Sunoco is good but always cost the most......The problem I have with the Exxon is it's ran by those we are goin to war with to put it nicely......I am wondering if i am crazy or other's are experiencing the same.......
I get Hess gas 95% of the time. 76 gas gives me about the same mileage. I did get a little better mpg on a tank of Exxon one time...I noticed but I did not really think about testing it again. I might try Exxon next time and see if it I get repeat higher mpg.
My truck seems toget better mileage on gas from Chevron rather than MAverick, or Flying J. Of course I might just drive differently and think the gas is making the difference. As long as it stays about 11MPG in town, I'm happy.

Gas station problem
I stay away from Hess like the plague (not the best quality of gas), never touch BP, although they did merge with Amoco (Amoco uses quality fuel), avoid Exxon as a political step rather than fuel-quality related, and usually stick to Mobil. Sunoco gas is pretty good, too, although it is rather pricy. I also don't use "no-name" gas stations because I'm not willing to take the risk on quality (some are good, some are bad -- you never know).
BP, AMOCO, Mobil same gas isn't it? My truck has an alignment problem, it trys to turn into every ags staion I go by! Seriously I though all the Mobils went to BP, at least the ones in central CA did. The AMOCO's up here in northern MN are now BP. Just a tid bit of news......
I did some queries on gas in our area. Our local Albertsons store buys from an outfit that supposedly gets its gas from Alaska oil locations ( hope it wasn't b.s.).
I'd rather buy from Alaska than the .......well you know

Yes, Amoco did go BP -- supposedly, they still use quality Amoco fuel and not BP fuel. Supposedly. But Mobil going BP? Where did this come from? I hadn't heard or seen anything about this one.
Dude 2,15 for regular unleaded ! I filled up yesterday at Chevron regular unleaded 87 octane 1.52. Which I thought was robbery ! How can you afford to drive a lifted truck with a V-10 with those prices ?
I only use Sunoco since the local station is one of my best customers. My truck doesn't get decent gas mileage on anyone's gas. And, hey Godzilla, never buy gas from Turkey Hill, UniMart, 7-11, or whatever convenience store. They usually buy their gas from the cheapest bidder. I get more customers that come in for Isopropyl dry gas after filling up at the convenience store. On a side note, I'm from Shamokin, PA and spend a lot of time at Maple Grove. Very familiar with your area and the Reading to Philly area.
Hey Jimmie,
I stay away from the Turkey Hill anyway cause my gas mileage the one and only time I filled up there I got 7 mpg.....and that is no lie.....I am a fan of the Exxon gas....just a fan of who I am buying from.....on a side note....me and a few friends lookin to get a club going.....cars and trucks.....we will be goin to shows and races....maple grove....cecil county....Carlisle....and where ever else we can afford to drive.....send me an email me with some info and what not.....

Just my 2 cents.
Hi all. This is my first post as I am a new user. Truck is 1 week old! Woo Hoo!
I am not sure if you are aware of this but Exxon bought Mobil awhile back. So avoiding Exxon and using Mobil for political reasons isn't hurting Exxon. Just thought that you might want to know.
Exxon produces the best fuel, although using 89 octane will create a noticable change for the better from any station. And for Flying J, not familiar with their gasoline, but I do know that they sell crap diesel. Remember to check your tire pressure too....2 psi can make a difference in your mileage.
