Okay, here are some pics taken this morning with my cheap 2 mp Sony camera. These were taken before I washed it, so the truck is still dirty. Also, I had just put the FTE url and decals on it, but had not pulled off the back. That is why it looks like that on the rear window. It looks correct now, but I will have to wait until I get the truck back from the shop before I can take better pics of it. I'll use the Nikon 24 mp camera, and I'll get some pics of the interior too.
Correction, these were taken after I washed it, but I was not able to get to the roof, or the bed, so I decided to take it to a professional car wash place, and they did an excellent job. I will be taking there in the future too. Just noticed, this truck is longer than my mobile home is wide. LOL.
It is definitely a 20 foot truck, maybe even 30 foot. From that distance it looks great. However, the closer you get the more flaws in the paint you see. Of course it is all cosmetic, and I did not buy it for its paint job, I bought it to tow, and I am sure it will do fine. On a side note, I have already hit my head on that overhead console twice today. Going to have to figure out a new strategy for getting in that doesn't involve head slaps. LOL
i was in fresno today next time give me a call and u and me can do it lol but nice truck i want ur rear bumper but its not a bad truck at all wish it was a idi then it be it be a perfift truck lol
Sure Joe, I am going to go out and spend $1,200 on parts for a truck I just bought yesterday. And none of that stuff will fix the issues it has. However, I already put most of them in the Summit shopping cart. Only thing I did not add was the $400 distributor. I don't know when I will buy them but they are there if I decide to go through with it. The spark plugs, coil, and wires, I know I will buy, and most likely the Jet computer, but I don't know about the headers or intake.
Right now the truck is still at the shop. It passed smog, and the guy found out it needs an AC clutch, so he will start on it first thing in the morning. When that is done, it will be off to the alarm shop. I want to get the trailer this week too, maybe tomorrow, but mot likely Wednesday.
I like the rear bumper too. I just bought a receiver ball mount that has three different size ***** on it so I can tow most any trailer. Also picked up a Master ball mount lock so nobody steals it.
Jim That FTE sticker sure looks good, the upper cb console is that a add on
or ford Install looks nice but I don't know how many hits to the head your going to take before you take a 25oz framing hammer to it .

Yea it does, it was originally bought for the top of the windshield of the Bronco, but I could not reach high enough to put it on. LOL. So, I kept it in the closet knowing I was going to buy another Ford. I put the two FTE stickers on the front of the bed cap. They are hard to see from the angles above, but when I get the truck back I will take more pics, with the Nikon, and get a close up of them. They are the stickers you get when you pay for a 3 year membership. I am not sure if the overhead console was an option from Ford, or part of the Centurion conversion. I have seen other Ford trucks with wood consoles, so maybe it was installed by Ford.
The center console really did a number on me. The bruise is still visible, but the knot went down in size. I don't know if my head can take anymore beatings. LOL, but I really don't want to get rid of the overhead console. Going to have to figure out a different way to get in though, can't have my own truck beating on me. LOL
That is an awesome looking truck. I would not mind having it myself, but it is a 4 speed, so I would not be able to drive it. Well, I spent $375 at Summit Racing thanks to you Joe. I bought the coil, spark plugs, and wires, and the Jet computer. Going to hold off on the headers and cold air intake until I get the trailer, and see what I have let for my toy. I would have had you fix the AC clutch, but you are not here. And you will be working 7 days a week starting Wednesday so you will not have much time to do any work on my truck.
However, I just found out the guy across the street is a mechanic, so I may use him to do the work on the cars I flip. May even have him install the stuff from Summit, or I might just wait and take the parts to that gtg on the 21st. Got to have something to do while I am there. LOL
