Battery Light
Hi all, I have a 2004 F250, running great.... but some days my battery light comes on and stays on when I start the truck. I will drive a couple of blocks and it will turn off... What causes this and should I be concerned?

I hate to say it but that Battery Light Has Proven to be Very Accurite
Is the Bat Light staying Off???
Maybe a Loose Wire got Played with and tightened Better connection??

The Deal is the Battery Light kicks On when there is High system Demand right at Cold STartup when Glow Plugs are all On
The Bat Light coming on at Start likely means its weak or getting a Bad Alternator Diode
Do you have anything to watch Volts with??
You have to make shure that your charging system is at 110% or it will KILL the FICM FAST!!
Cheack All Wires Clean them and Smear Vasiline on them Follow the Main Grounds to where they Mount clean there
Sometimes its Cheap Easy Fix Too
You will notice most of the regulars have Upgraded Batterys CCA and went to High Output Alternators with Good Success

Yes Sir^^^Definatly check the Easy Stuff I seen a Bad ground cable or two cause this Bat Light
I spent an hour a Year or two ago with a Dremal tool cleaning all the Grounds and Battery Cable connections Put Vasaline or Grease on them and They stay Corrosion free
