Hypermax Smoke Puff Limiter/Aneroid
I've seen quite a bit of back-and-forth about this little device, but nothing recent.

Do any of you have one, does it work well, and does anyone happen to have a used one for cheaper than that?
It seems like it should work nicely - limit max fuel based on boost pressure so you can turn the fuel /way/ up without smoking at low RPMs.

Note that even ignoring how fast a turbo spins up, if you're under heavy load at a lower RPM, you'll get smoke. At least that's what I find with mine - at 1600rpm, fully loaded, I get constant smoke. At higher, 2k+, no smoke. I'm thinking that if I turned the fuel up more, my smoke at full load, lower RPMs would be worse.
Anyway,
Does /anyone/ actually have one of these, or is it just a matter of everyone liking the idea, but haven't bought one yet?
Once I have some money, I'm thinking of getting one, installing it, and then seeing if I can't build a similar module that works the same way for my other trucks, perhaps make a couple to sell if they're easy enough to make.
It looks pretty simple from the outside, for a machinist like myself.

I dont know of anyone having one, but i am planning to get one especially if i get a big bore.
I think thats what racin had in mind, but deemed it not worth it for the price. I think one wouldnt be hard to make for 92+ pumps but i could be wrong.

Adding one of these allows it to act as a variable-limiter, meaning that you don't inject nearly as much fuel when floored at 1600 as you would at 3200, per squirt.
