I have a 73 F250 4x4 that has manual steering. The guy I bought it from included a steering box and pump.
How difficult is the conversion?
Parts list would include pump braket new hoses?
This steering box has four holes to mount through so I would have to locate it and drill holes?
Any input would be great!
Thanks

Sorry not the greatest pic. the frame is open on the early F250 4x4. I had a plate welding in there, then I could mount the steering box (I used a 79 F250 4x4 steering box, pitman arm and center link). I had the power assist steering, and this drives like a dream compared, steers with one finger now.
Some folks notch the front crossmember, cause it's tight, I didn't have too.

It can be as easy as replicating the kit from Benchwork Steering: Ford F250 Conversion
Man those pics are INVALUABLE! If I use them elsewhere ill be sure to give you credit.. sorry, I'm not the OP but I have been looking for pics that good of this for years..
It's not super pretty but it works well. Only thing I would advice is to move the steering box back a little farther than I did with mine. Having mine where it is, I need to either A) cut/sleeve the drag link or B) figure out the best option to make it adjustable.
