74 Power Steering Conversion
Hey Guys
I have a 74 F250 4x4 with the ram assist steering. Yesterday, I went to the serve yourself type wreckning yard and found a 78 f250 4x4 with the steering still intact. The front axle housing was gone but the steering assembly was left. I pulled out the steering shaft (from the box to the firewall), the pitman arm, and the steering box, and managed to get all of that for $67.00. I think that was a pretty good deal, but not sure. Is this all that I need from that truck to do the power steering conversion????
The power steering pump is still there and all of the hoses. Will my power steering pump work from a 360?? (I actually have a 460 in the process of being installed but will use the 360 pump after making an adapter) Please reply before the parts disapear.

Well, I couldn't get the drag link. I didn't understand the option of 2 tie rod ends and an adjuster. Could you please shed some light on that? Whats an adjuster?
