Power steering
Hey everyone,
I have a Power steering question.
Can a power steering gear box off a 78-79 4x4 F250 be coverted to work on a EB?
I have a buddy with a 78 F250 4x4 that he is selling for parts and said i can take all the power steering off it for $100 if i want it? Will it work for my EB? Do I have to modify it? If so, what would i have to modify?

I know sometimes people use the pickup gearbox to do powersteering conversion on early Broncos. I'm not sure what years or series 150/250 they use. If anything, the pump should work but you will need the right brackets for your engine.

The 4x4 box and sector shaft will work with the '81 2x4 worm gear/rack. bcbroncos.com does this conversion in the tech tips link. Don't know about the pump and brackets. If you do pass it up let me know and I might buy it.
