My driver side door recently started rattling on my 77 regular cab. I've looked at it and I can't find anything loose but when traveling down the road it sounds likethe ddoor is going to fall off. Any suggestions or ideas what it could be and how to fix it?

 

Right now mine is rattling something fierce. It Is the vertical support for the wind wing. I just ordered new door panels from jeffs bronco graveyard, I think when I pull the stock door panel, I will find some loose screws. Could that be what is wrong with yours, or is it the door gasket?

 

There is a plastic cover that goes around the door strike. These often crack and fall off - resulting in the kind of rattle you describe since the remaining post is a smaller diameter. That is what I would check first. Compare it with the other side.
