I bought the loop pile carpet for my 1972 F250 from Stock Interiors and it was excellent. I specifically asked if they could leave the sides "untrimmed" since I heard that sometimes the carpet is too narrow and doesn't cover the entire floor. The carpet had plenty of extra on the sides as well as front and back so I had enough to wrap it up along the rear cab wall. I did not order the mass backed as I had put down a layer of Dynamat, jute backed insulation, and topped it off with a layer of 1/8" mass loaded vinyl so I figured I had enough sound barrier, etc. I was very pleased with the carpet from Stock Interiors as it fit great and looked awesome.
Well after much consideration and conversation with my wallet, I went ahead and ordered from Stock Interiors. I got the carpet and kick panels for $226 shipped to my door. I still have to get a heater core and a wiper switch and am on a budget.
this is what the floors look like...
AC ducting all bleached and will be scrubbed with hot soapy water today!
Dash is out and been bleached waiting scrub today!
one of those was laying on top of the instrument cluster and the other one was on top of the dash inner structure where the steering column mounts!...and POOP everywhere in the ac ducting.
Prolly gonna remove the headliner today so I can work on the one rust spotand insulate the roof.
got everything scrubbed yesterday. Now I need to pull out the heater core and get a new one. May as well do the blower motor too. I DO NOT want to do this again anytime soon!lol
Is there anyway for mice to get to the headliner? I am thinking about dropping it just in case.

I once pulled the headliner from a dent at a junkyard and there was definitely something dead up in it so I do think a mouse can get up there. It was disgusting!
I am glad I did pull it! Found another dead mouse up there!....NOW everything has been bleached and hosed out. I disinfected the headliner so I can use it as a template to make a new one.
Now I can also work on the only rust spot on the entire truck!
You said you were running speaker wires to the back. What type of speaker enclosure are you putting in the back of your supercab?
The guys/gals with regular cabs its common what they use but with a super cab there may be people /kids / stuff going in and out of there. Just wondering how you are planning on protecting the speakers from damage?
the PO had cut holes in the side panels and put in 6.5" Kenwoods... I just put new 6.5" Kenwoods up front in the doors and will replace the 6.5" in the rear with Kenwoods again. It has an old Alpine cassette player that sounds GREAT...now I can go retro and listen to all the music I grew up on.....Metallica, Iron Maiden, WASP...etc.....!
