HELP!!!! 7.3

I am having a problem with my 2000 f-350 dually, it idles fine but if I dont let it warm up for 15 to 20 min , it will make it a 1/4 mile shutter, lose power and stall, then its hard to restart, when it finally dose start a lot of smoke then runs fine for the rest of the day. any ideas?

What color smoke are you talking about after the restart?

Blueish is usually a sign of injectors. White is unburnt fuel. Black is obviously over fueled

I was hoping by now someone more knowledgeable than me on this topic would chime in.

I doubt that's the problem. I also assume your talking about the hpo ?resavor? (Bad spelling). Oil flows threw that so quick that it "shouldn't" have time to build up, then again there are a couple guys who swear to do because they have found a lot of junk in theirs.

90% of the time when these trucks do what you described, they are about 2 gallons low on oil.
