Cranks Interchangeable?

Is it possible to use an EFI crank in an early block? I know that Ford changed the length of the valves in the heads in the latter years. Were there any changes with the cranks?

67-96 300 cranks will be interchangeable. 65-66 had a different thrust bearing set up. I'm not sure on the 65-66's if the cranks were different or if it was only the blocks.
